A burning copper sky stretches over a calm estuary at low tide, with tiny birds skimming the water’s surface below. The landscape is reduced to pure colour and feeling — layers of rust, amber and sage green in expressive, textured strokes. A companion piece to No. 12, but earthier, wilder, and closer to the ground.
